okay, first let me say....i am TERRIBLE with sunglasses.  I'm either losing, misplacing, or breaking them.  I seriously broke 2 pair last week.  I normally try and pay no MORE than $6 bucks on them because of my bad habits.  Well, last week I scored 6 pairs for a $1.73!!!  That includes TAX!  I'm so excited! I dont think I've ever bought that many sunglasses for that cheap!  SCORE!

One of our local stores had 95% off their summer stuff! I got ALL this for under $12 bucks!! We have a little beach here (more like bay) and these floats are PERFECT!  I got a few slip-n-slides too....my kids love them.   As you can see I picked up doubles or even triples of some items but my older sister had a nice pool so i'm planning to send some of this home with her.  I wish they had more boogie boards...they were .75!  The original price was $14.99!  My boys will be all set for next summer :)

Not sure how I managed to let that happen!

earthquake & hurricane!

so it seems like most of the east coast felt the 5.9 earthquake today.  im not sure how I didnt, but i am thankful for that.  i worry way to much as it is....and probably would've freaked out! not a good thing since my husband was at work while this happened. 

it seems this weekend we may be getting a hurricane :( boo hiss!  im not for this 'type' of weather.  corey was supposed to have his first football game but because of the upcoming weather, they canceled :/   

i hope we dont get any part of this hurricane!

almost time for school!  we have 6 days!  im excited & nervous. the kids are going to a new school this year (the BEST one here) so im hoping they LOVE it.  i've heard nothing but good things about this school both from parents that have kids there & also read great reviews online too.  im nto worried about corey as he makes friends quick & is just mr. popular.  little eric is more like me (when i was younger)  quiet & shy. he normally doesnt open up at first & than tends to take to 1 or 2 kids. i guess we'll just wait & see how things go.  we have open house monday, that should be fun.

For the first time ever (well since I been shopping farm fresh) they were doubling coupons up to $2.00.  So if you had a $2 coupon, it took $4 bucks off...which makes for the little bags of dog food free. They did this sale sun-tues.  Everything in this pic was free.
