Target!

Loving the target deals today.  I did notice most of the coupons have been adjusting down now, so nice not to have to deal with the constant 'beepage'.  However, today I had $4.23 in overage but nothing else to ring up. I grabbed my friends pack of t-shirts for her husband so she could get the overage since I wouldnt get cash back anyways. I did do a separate transaction for 2 of the Vanish Toilet things, lol.  My total was ONLY .11!! My friend was pleased because she got the good overage & I only paid .11!!! Loved it!

walgreens.

Walgreens really hasn't had any good sales the past two weeks. I did stop by yesterday to check out any clearance deals. They had most of the triple a batteries marked down. I decided to buy 1 pack for $2.12 -.75 (manf coupon). = $1.37 plus tax. Notice the coupons in the pack (save $15). Inside there was a $3.00 off coupon for the rechargeable battery sets! They were marked down to $2.74 so free plus I got .26 towards my other pack of batteries! So I bought 2 charger packs & another pack of triple a's with the coupons total: .85! SCORE!

the coupons that came with the pack of batteries.  there were 2 $5 off coupons on the back but they were for flashlights.

pay day :)

I love getting checks in the mail.

2 Rite Aid Checks:  $39.48
P&G:   $12.00
Total:  $51.48!

America's Favorite Gift Cards.

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of FriendGiftr. All opinions are 100% mine.

Have you ever heard of FriendGiftr?  I haven't until recently. After browsing the website I realized what a fantastic program this is.  You can buy gift cards either real digital (getting via the web) or you can actually send the physical gift card itself. My favorite thing though, is they offer an exchange program. Have you ever recieved a gift card and thought to yourself, what am I going to do with this, I don't even shop at that store, and now I am stuck with a gift card I won't use.  FriendGiftr will let you exhange your gift card for one of their 120 merchants at no extra costs!  How awesome is that? With that many merchants you will be sure to find someplace you would like to shop!  They also sell the card in increments of $10, $20, $25, $35, $50, $75, and $100 gift cards.  I am a fan of the $10 increment.  Buying a gift card for that amount is perfect for my kids teacher's as gifts.  Its a nice way to let them know you appreciate them.

I must admit I am not into all this high-tech stuff. However, if you have an i-phone, android, or blackberry you can send gift cards right to the recipeients phone!   If you didn't have a chance to mail a birthday card, you could always send a 'digital' gift card via facebook, myspace or twitter.  I am definately becoming a fan already.  This would be a great gift for my brother-in-laws upcoming birthday. I can send him a gift card from the retailer I *think* he will like.  I know that if he doesn't like the retailer, he can pick for 120 others.

6.

Is that the new age to have a smart mouth?  Normally, my 6yr old is very good, laid back, and reserved.  These last few days he seems to have lost his marbles.  He's been talking back quite a bit & trying to get the last 'word' in.  Let's just say he's become best friends with mr. timeout.  Hopefully, this is just a phase that will SOON pass.  ugh.

There aren't many kids around here at all.  Not nearly as many activities either.  I asked him if he was ready to go to school...his reply was 'yes'.  Then he told me he was gonna kiss some girls, lol.  I told him...little boy...I DONT THINK SO!!!  He's a MESS!!!  I have a feeling I may get a few phone calls about this one, lol.
