Do you wear glasses?  How much are you willing to pay?  What is considered to high?  I'm curious to see what price ranges people shop for their optical wear.  Although, I don't wear glasses, my husband does.   Like anything else I shop for...I'm always on the lookout for a bargain.  My husband wears glasses but thankfully he's all about stretching a dollar. 

Recently, in the Time magazine (July 4th edition: Eyes on the Price) it was discussed that editor, Bill Saporito, paid $1000.00 for glasses!  Can you imagine?! I was shocked to read that ANYONE would pay such a high price for glasses.  I just couldn't bring myself to spend that amount of money on a pair of glasses.  Obviously, Mr. Saporito didn't shop at Zenni Optical were your glasses can  be shipped right to your door for $20!  That includes shipping too! He could have saved $980!  I'm sure there have to be better ways to spend that money.  I know we live a frugal life and $1000.00 would have NEVER been spent on glasses in this household.
