school & football!

  The  boys started school yesterday.  I now have a 1st grader & 2nd grader.  So far they like, which I knew they would. Same school & friends.  Im just hoping for a great year for both of them.  I started school too and got a 100 on my first assignment!   I was thrilled, but still got a long way to go. I'm secretly hoping for December to hurry up ;)

Corey's started football again.  Let me just say, this boy is a TACKLING machine! He really is amazing & I love watching him play. He has such passion for the game & truly gives it his all.  I'm thrilled he loves the sport since we're pretty BIG football fans.  Now if only we could get him to like the Dallas Cowboys?!  Wishful thinking, huh?

After 9 years.....

I am going BACK to school!!  I signed up for 4 classes (full-time).  Im nervous, scared, and just hope I do good. I'm taking all online classes because right now its the best option for me.  Back in 2002 I was 5 classes away from my associates degree in Criminal Justice.  I got married, moved, and just never went back to school. Now, I'm interested in  education; pre-k and kindergarten.  So, most of those previous 55 credit hours are no good. It sucks, but hopefully I'm on the right path now.  Let's see how this journey goes!

months.....

 didnt realize its been since MAY that I have posted?  things have been hectic with kids out on summer break & I got a NEW job!  I work as a receptionist for a local company. I'm loving it so far.  Corey has started football a week ago so add that into our busy schedule.  time is just flying by!  kids are doing good school starts in 15 days.....not that im counting ;)  sorry this post is all over the place but hopefully i will get some deals up here soon. i do have 2 or 3 pictures from a farm fresh shopping trip. im really gonna try to get back in the swing of things!  hope everyone is enjoying their summer!

Today Burkes switched their dots which means 95% OFF!  My girlfriend & I (hi jennifer!) got to the store 10mins before it opened.  We wanted to make sure we got the 'good' stuff.  I mean, people literally have carts FULL of things!  I saw one lady in there that had TWO carts filled to the top....no, actually overflowing!  I was able to get some GREAT deals but really nothing for my kids...which sucks!  Ahh well, there's always next month ;)
