Parent's Choice.

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of PBM Products. All opinions are 100% mine.

I'm not going to lie, I tend to be a brand 'snob'.  When it came to things like diapers and formula's I always thought generic or store brand formula didn't have enough vitamins or nutrients.  Not long ago I had this same discussion with a close friend of mine.  She had switched to a store brand formula because the price was so much cheaper. She compared the nutrients and everything panned out to be equal.  So, I wonder......how much are mothers wasting by sticking to a brand they THINK is better for their better.  How much could a mother be saving? Let's be honest, we all want to save money!

Some benefits that are EQUAL in both generic and Similac for example are:

-prebiotics to help support baby's immune system.

-milk-based nutrition containing all nutrients, vitamins and minerals for growth and development DHA & ARA, which may support brain & eye development.

-they are available in  23.2 & 12.4 oz sizes.

I just recently read an article over on CNN MoneyWatch Called: switch to generic formula.  One thing I found is that similac has been recalled before because of beetles/larvae may have be found in the powder formula.  Now, most moms would probably thing a name brand formula would be much safer.   I also read that mothers who give their babies similac (or the likes) are paying TWICE as much!  That itself blows my mind. Why pay MORE for a brand name when the generic version is the same.  It's estimated that by switching to generic formula the average person can save up to $600 a year!  The FDA requires that ALL formulas meet the minimum nutrient requirements, so there is 'peace of mind' knowing that your baby will still get the same ingredients as those name brands.  Be sure to check the above article out!  Seems like generic is the WAY to go!  Next time you're out shopping whether it be target, walmart or a drugstore...be sure to check out the formuals.    Compare the prices & ingredients to the generic vs name brand.  I'm sure you'll be shocked at the difference in price!  Feel free to come back & share what you've found!
